Transferring made easy

You’ve got credits from past college courses, but how do you transfer them to CUAA? It’s easy and we accept a wide range of course work from two and four-year accredited schools, military experience, and even prior work or life experience.

We’re here to guide you on your new path to degree completion! Connect with an admissions counselor to discuss your transfer process.

Transfer requirements

Transfer students are subject to the following requirements, as outlined in the Concordia University Ann Arbor Academic Catalog.

A grade of D or higher in any class is considered for transfer credit from an accredited higher-educational institution.

Advanced Transfer Status will be given to students who hold an Associate Degree or at least 60 transferable credits from regionally accredited colleges, universities, or technical schools.

Please ask your admission counselor for details, and feel free to request an unofficial evaluation of all of the credits you’ve taken to date.

What's next?

  • Your completed application will be reviewed for eligibility by admissions
  • Once admitted, the Registrar’s Office will complete an official transfer credit evaluation
  • Students who meet CUAA’s entrance requirements will receive communication outlining the next steps
  • Admitted students who have completed their FAFSA will receive communication about their financial aid package via student email after enrolled in coursework. Undergraduate students must by enrolled in at least 6 credits and graduate students 3 credits to receive financial aid.
